Why Join 2050PP?

HOW TO JOIN

To join the 2050 Pathways Platform as a member, countries should submit a letter of interest to the Platform secretariat. The secretariat will respond quickly to answer any questions and facilitate next steps. There is no financial cost to be a member of the Platform.

INTRODUCTION

The 2050 Pathways Platform was launched at COP22 by high-level climate champion and architect of the Paris Agreement Laurence Tubiana. The Platform supports countries in the development of long-term, deep decarbonization strategies, as invited by Article 4.19 of the Paris Agreement.

Designed as a collective problem-solving space, the Platform facilitates the sharing of knowledge and experiences between and within countries. The Platform also provides financial and technical assistance to those countries which have identified such needs.

WHERE WE WORK

The 2050 Pathways Platform has more than 30 member countries worldwide, along with hundreds of cities, states and regions and businesses through our partners. We also work with other non-member countries on a case-by-case basis. You can find a full list of members here.
