DESCRIPTION:Speakers: UNFCCC\, NDC Partnership\, IDDRI\, Cambodia\, Jordan\, Saint Vincent & The Grenadines \nDrawing on the experience of Cambodia\, Jordan\, and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines\, this event will highlight the importance of sustainable institutional arrangements and capacity building in the implementation of the Paris Agreement\, as well as the integration of climate action planning into long-term development planning. It will seek to demonstrate a systemic approach to identifying and addressing capacity-building challenges to such goals\, thus encouraging participants to consider applying similar efforts in their respective countries. This event will also provide a space for IDDRI to present the main insights of a newly launched guide on NDC and LT-LEDS alignment\, co-developed by IDDRI and the 2050 Pathways Platform.

SUMMARY:MDBs’ Long-Term Strategies Program (LTS-P): Moving from Launch to Delivery
DESCRIPTION:Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) will use this event to kick-start the delivery of the MDBs’ LTS Program. The event will feature a keynote address and a panel discussion presenting perspectives from donors on their priorities and the importance of LTSs. MDBs will share insights on the role of LTSs and other climate plans in supporting policy development and investment planning. Together\, they will emphasise the importance of collaboration and coordination in supporting countries and a vision for a strong alliance that helps ensure a just and inclusive transition towards a resilient\, net-zero future.
