Pathways for a just energy transition aligned with Morocco’s sustainable and resilient development goals

The event aims to initiate a dialogue on Moroccan’s Net Zero Framework and the dialogues on the implementation and operationalisation of the country’s Long-term Vision and Long-term Low Emission Development Strategy (LT-LEDS). The 2050 Pathways Platform will be giving opening remarks reflecting on the LT-LEDS work to date in Morocco.

The panel will also include a discussion on the challenges and opportunities associated with the implementation of the LT-LEDS in Morocco, and approaches to mobilising public and private investments to better support the various national and local stakeholders in this effort and transform these ambitious objectives in results on the ground.
